The end-of-term finish line is nearly on the horizon, but with a few more weeks to go let's look back on the biggest stories from Teddington School this autumn.

Raising awareness for MPs in Parliament for World Diabetes Day (14 November) was Seren in Year 8; Seren was representing the Big Balloon Challenge: demonstrating how living with diabetes is a constant balancing act, it's like doing everything in your daily life while keeping a balloon in the air.

It was a proud moment when Henri in Year 11 played at the Lord Mayor's show on Saturday 11 November, and then played the Last Post at Teddington Memorial on Sunday 12 November. An incredible honour and achievement!

Remember your Duke of Edinburgh? In a blast to the past, Year 11 cohort completed their qualifying silver expedition from 3 – 6 Nov. Ms Lee said: "[I'm] Very proud of our students for showing incredible determination in challenging weather conditions!"

In foreign affairs, Teddington School welcomed Geschwister Scholl Schule students and teachers in its annual German exchange. The Mayor of Richmond also greeted the 80 students from Konstanz. Students met for the first time back in July in Germany, and the exchange marked an incredible opportunity for our students to make friends and gain different perspectives.

Special shout out to the PTA who worked over October half term to bring the beauty of wild flowers to the school's environment. Many parents helped out or donated to make the school bloom with nature. wildthomasgardens.com were on hand with its expertise!
