Friday 24 November

Women in the Margins: Joanne Harris, Landmark Arts Centre, 8pm 

Having published over 20 books, including the best-selling Chocolat, Joanne will join us to discuss her life, acclaimed writing career, and bold and timely new book: Maiden, Mother, Crone. An audience Q&A will follow the main talk. Do not miss this opportunity to meet the loved author Joanne, purchase a book and have it signed by the bestselling author herself. 

Lunchtime Book Club, Landmark Arts Centre, 1pm 

Do you have a passion for reading? Then why not join us every month, when we come together in reading and reviewing a wide selection of books. Our friendly sessions are the perfect way to meet like-minded readers and discover exciting new reads. We explore short stories, novels, non-fiction, poetry, and best sellers. Do you enjoy 70's disco and soul music, with a handful of 60's Motown thrown in for good measure? Come along to Teddington Constitutional Club, where DJ's "Disco Sue" and "Markus" play the best vinyl records to a friendly (if slightly worn out) bunch of party people of varying ages, who are old enough to know better.

Discover the magic of musical storytelling: a show combining original music, songs, images and stories as part of an exploration of different forms of narrative. Basically, Jackanory, with drums.

Chocolat – a delicious workshop inspired by the award-winning novel, Landmark Arts Centre, 11am-1:30pm 

Our chocolat expert returns to guide you through the process, revealing secret techniques that will elevate your chocolate creations to new heights. Unleash your inner chocolatier as you mold, temper, and decorate ethical edibles. Each bite will transport you into a realm of Chocolat and its magical history.

Christmas Bazaar, St Mary's Parish Hall, 11am-2:30pm 

With fabulous Raffle prizes (thanks to the amazing generosity of our High Street and Broad Street), the most twinkly Santa's Grotto, our sought-after, delicious hog roast, craft ideas & games for children, and plenty for the adults too.

Christmas Craft Fair, Teddington Baptist Church, 10:30am-2:30pm 

Our annual craft fair returns with our usual very popular farm animals. We have 20 varied gift stalls and plenty for the kids including craft activities, nativity dressing up and face painting. Refreshments and light lunches will also be available.

The GQ Collective, The Abercorn Arms, 7pm-1am 

Get your funk on with The GQ Collective playing banger after banger. Spinning vinyl only, the DJs set the vibes with funk, groove and soul.

 Fundraising Gala hosted by The Friends of Teddington Memorial Hospital, The Lensbury, 7pm 

The Friends of Teddington Memorial Hospital is excited to invite you to its fundraising Gala hosted by renowned TV presenter Nicholas Owen, in partnership with The Lensbury. It aims to raise valuable funds for vital projects, including the new Pain Management Service, designed to improve the quality of life for those living with chronic pain in our community.
