Some of England's Red Roses team took a trip to Teddington following their recent win at the rugby women's World Cup final in Twickenham.
First, they had World Cup images tattooed on their arms and legs as they waited their turn, still proudly wearing their gold medals around their necks at Teddington Ink on Waldegrave Road.

Speaking about the Red Roses visit, Teddington Ink said: "The team knew exactly what they wanted, and we were proud to bring their ideas to life.
"It was an honour to play a small part in their celebration and to see the meaning behind every tattoo."
You can watch a video of the players getting their tattoos on Teddington Ink's Instagram page here.
Next, they headed to The Beach gallery, also on Waldegrave Road, to check out a women's rugby inspired exhibition titled Touchlines of Fortitude.
Speaking about Red Roses' visit, the exhibition's Curator, Agnieszka Lokaj told Nub News: "It was such a wonderful coincidence to meet some of the Red Roses as they were having their championship tattoos done at Teddington Ink.
"Meeting Red Roses in person was such an incredible moment! It was fantastic to have Megan Jones and Abbie Ward visit the Touchlines of Fortitude exhibition at The Beach Gallery.

"I was honoured to be able to show Megan the painting inspired by her, especially just two days after cheering the team on as they won the Women's Rugby World Cup in front of 82,000 people at Twickenham Stadium — absolutely unreal! I almost got blinded by their gold medals."

Touchlines of Fortitude featured artwork and writings from various local artists and writers, including images inspired by the Red Roses.
Speaking about what inspired her to create the exhibition, Lokaj said: "I wanted to do a project on female resilience.

"But I've always worked in sport, so wanted to combine sport and art, and with the women's rugby World Cup taking place in Twickenham, the idea kind of just worked."
While the exhibition at The Beach has now closed, selected works from the exhibition by local artists Agnieszka, Tahira Mandarino, and Gina DeCagna, which celebrate female strength and resilience, have moved to The Press Room in Twickenham – the spiritual home of rugby, and host to the 2025 Women's World Cup Final.
"It's the ideal way to pause, caffeinate and reflect. So, make sure you visit The Press Room to see the works for yourself," Lokaj said.
The works will remain in The Press Room until 5 January 2026.

As a member of the Visual Artists Association, Lokaj will be taking part in the OpenSpaces Global Art Trail at The Pressroom in Twickenham.
Visual Artists Association's OpenSpaces Global Art Trail is officially launching tomorrow (Saturday, 11 October).
For one whole month, artists from all over the world, including Lokaj, will be transforming everyday places into unexpected art experiences – think shop windows, cafes, libraries, parks, and more.
Lokaj said: "Art is truly everywhere."
She added: "I'm especially proud to be representing alongside fellow Visual Artists Association creatives – and can't wait to share work that's bold, reflective, and a little boundary-pushing."
The exhibition will run until 9 October.
You can check the OpenSpaces Global Art Trail map here.
(Note: OpenSpaces Global Art Trail is for VAA members only, so Tahira and Gina don't officially take part in it.
