National Theatre's production of ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ to screen at Hampton Hill Theatre this weekend

If you love Oscar Wilde and missed seeing the live performance of The Importance of Being Earnest at the National Theatre, you can see a filmed version of the National Theatre's performance at Hampton Hill Theatre this Sunday, 9 March.
The screening will run from 7pm – 9pm.
Three-time Olivier Award-winner Sharon D Clarke is joined by Ncuti Gatwa (Doctor Who; Sex Education) in this "joyful reimagining of Oscar Wilde's most celebrated comedy" directed by Max Webster (Life of Pi).
The upcoming screening shows a "hilarious story of identity, impersonation and romance, filmed live from the National Theatre in London".
The show's synopsis reads: "While assuming the role of a dutiful guardian in the country, Jack lets loose in town under a false identity. Meanwhile, his friend Algy adopts a similar facade. Hoping to impress two eligible ladies, the gentlemen find themselves caught in a web of lies they must carefully navigate."
