Savills is looking for a motivated and efficient Saturday Assistant to support the Residential Lettings team who are responsible for renting property in and around the Teddington area. 

This is an office based role and you will be expected to use email, answer telephone calls and deal with walk-in enquiries in an efficient and timely manner.

They are a very small restaurant with only 58 covers, so are looking for people who are also willing to make and serve alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages when needed, for which training will be provided for if needed! At least 1 year of experience in hospitality is essential.

The ideal candidates will be keen to learn about the brand identity and speak to customers and answer their questions about the food or the business. Most of the busy shifts are on Friday and Saturday evenings so availability on these days is preferable.

Higher Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory

A permanent vacancy exists for a Higher Scientist/Engineer to work within the Medical Ultrasound area of the Ultrasound and Underwater Acoustics Group.

The candidate will contribute to projects that involve applying leading-edge measurement techniques and instruments to research healthcare challenges. These include hydrophone-based systems, techniques for measuring ultrasound power, ultrasound field characterisation, acoustic properties of materials as well as direct work for customers delivering measurement services and consultancies.

The novel research will contribute to projects addressing the development of standardised characterisation methods to evaluate the performance of medical ultrasound imaging systems, impacting on existing and emerging clinical applications such as ultrasound computed tomography, elastography and photoacoustic. A track record in the area is expected, together with experience in publishing in scientific journals.
