By Tilly O'Brien 19th Oct 2026
Ted's Market is turning two at the end of the month.
The monthly market officially started in the car park of The King's Head pub on 26 October 2024.
Since then, the market has grown rapidly, taking on various new traders throughout the two years.
To celebrate its second birthday, Ted's Market will be returning to its usual spot on Saturday, 31 October, welcoming its usual traders, such as Red Panda Coffee, as well as new ones.
The new traders include Hampton Court Fruits selling fresh fruit and veg, Le Petit Moulin Traiteur - a French stall serving a range of restaurant-quality dishes to heat at home - and Fred's Bakes, which specialises in "delicious tarts", including Lemon Meringue, Brown Butter Pecan and Salted Chocolate Hazelnut.
Among the market's usual traders which will be setting up stall on Saturday, 31 October are:
- Tiramisu House - selling homemade tiramisu
- Lorna's Indian Kitchen - selling "amazing" curries and samosas
- AJ's Pies - selling sausage rolls and "proper" pies
- The French Comte - selling French cheese and charcuterie
- Bread Bread Bakery - selling sourdough bread, baguettes and pastries
- Thee Olive Tree - selling olives, tapenades, fresh pasta, and pestos
- Bospherous Bites - selling freshly made Turkish flatbreads
- Marble and Cured - Selling small batch biltong
- Bershire Trout - selling smoked trout, fresh fish and pâté
- Unholy Health - selling kombucha, ginger tea, and cordials
- Ieva's Yummy Soups - selling homemade soups from Ieva
- The Good Bloom - selling blooms and bouquets
Ted's Market runs from 9.30am 1.30pm on the last Saturday of each month. However, last month (September), it took place a week early as the pub has been undergoing refurbishment works.
This month's market comes just in time for the pub to show off its new refurb.
