On Saturday, 22 February, Ted's Market introduced three new traders: Swiss Bread, Collana Verde, and Hilton Hams.

Collana Verde Farm, which spends half the year in Campagna, harvesting and producing its olive oil, and the rest in London, produces organic olive oil and a variety of balsamic vinegars.

The farm's olive oil is special because of the variety of olives used and its balsamic vinegars vary in age from 12 years to 25 years, providing a rich flavour which the farm says "works well" on ice cream, salad dressings and cheese.

Collana Verde Farm's husband and wife team, Alfonso Petti and Indre Cukuraite, live in London and bought the farm seven years ago because they "wanted to return to the way they grew up" - living on farms.

The couple employs part time workers in Campagna to create their products, which are sold in retail outlets, farmers markets, and online.

In an exclusive interview with Teddington Nub News, Petti said: "I am happy to be at Ted's Market and offer our line of organic products to the residents.

"The farm is located in a small town called San Martino, which is about 40 miles from Naples.

"On the first Saturday of the month, we are at a market in Ham, we then take the second Saturday of the month off, and on the third, we hope to be here at Ted's Market."

Teddington locals, Kate Whyte and her daughter Tamara, were "very excited" to find Petti and his products.

Kate said: "We discovered this gentleman in Ham two years ago, so when we heard he was coming to Ted's market, we came back to purchase the balsamic vinegar again.

"We are definitely buying another bottle."

Ted's Market runs on the last Saturday of every month from 10am - 2pm in the car park of the King's Head Pub.
