Teddington now has its very own museum of curiosities and it's run by a nine year old.

Ida Buckland, along with her mum Estelle, have set up the museum in their front garden on Wick Road.

The museum is open every Friday during the school holidays and in fact you can visit today (August 14th) between 12:30 and 3:30 this afternoon.

Estelle told us how the museum came about.

She said: "Ida really loves fossils and adventures so we have collected a lot of interesting items.

"We've been shielding through lockdown so we thought this would be a great way to see people and Ida to catch up with her friends.

"The local community have also donated things whether that's a child's gas mask from a local doctor or a rat skull."

The museum has proved popular too with queues having formed to see the array of items.

Ida also revealed her favourite item to us - a taxidermy crow called Basil!

Selfies with Basil have also proved very popular with visitors to the museum.

There is also an impressive fox skull on display alongside snakeskin from Corsica and so much more.

So if you're in the area this afternoon make sure you get yourself down to the Buckland Museum of Curiosities to find some amazing items.
