Beauty Salons can finally reopen in Teddington from tomorrow (Saturday).

Initially these salons were meant to be reopening on August 1st however these measures were pushed back for two weeks due to a slight rise in cases.

It has been a tough time for the beauty industry as they are one of the last industries to fully reopen with shops, hospitality and other services all now back in action.

Simply Skin, a beauty and skincare centre located on Broad Street, shared their delight at the news on Twitter.

They said: "We can fully open and offer ALL treatments from this Saturday (15th August) To see our our availability and to book online click HERE - we are so ready and can not wait to see you all!

"Thank you to so many people for their patience and support."

Theatres and music venues can also now technically reopen but with social distancing still in place it seems unclear as to how they will be able to reopen profitably.

Trial events for fans in sports stadiums and arenas can now also resume.

This will start with the World Snooker Championship final taking place in Sheffield at the weekend.
