Squire's Garden Centres in Shepperton will be the venue for a special Fuchsia Workshop hosted by the British Fuchsia Society, taking place on Sunday, 20 October. This free, drop-in event* is open to everyone – from seasoned gardeners to those just starting their horticultural journey - and a fantastic opportunity to learn more about this diverse plant, which can offer a range of flowers from dainty and elegant to bold and bright.
With a day full of engaging sessions led by Fuchsia experts, attendees will have the chance to deepen their knowledge of these striking plants and gain practical tips to help them thrive. The schedule for the day offers four interesting sessions:
- 10:45am – 11:45am: Preparing Fuchsia Plants for Winter
- 11:45am – 12:30pm: Fuchsia Q&A Session
- 1:30pm – 2:30pm: How to Take Cuttings & Practical Growing Tips
- 2:40pm – 3:40pm: Encliandras – Miniature Flowered Fuchsias
Whether you're looking to prepare your plants for the colder months, seeking advice from Fuchsia specialists, or hoping to discover the charm of Encliandras – miniature-flowered Fuchsias – this workshop has something for everyone.
