Ted's Market has today (Friday, 15 August) announced that it has taken on a new trader.

Spore & Oak will be starting at the next market on 27 September and will be present at every market day, being on the last Saturday of each month.

The trader's first selection will include:

  • Regular, Blue, Pink & Golden Oysters
  • Shiitake & King Oysters
  • Fresh Lion's Mane

All of its produce is grown from the original spores, right through to fruiting, here in Teddington, using organic principles and ingredients.

Once Spore & Oak establishes its operation on Platt's Eyot, it plans to expand into Enoki, Cordyceps, Pioppino, Maitake, and Shimeji, with the possibility of producing single-variety supplements later in the year.

Ted's Market recently decided to return to its original timetable, meaning it will now take place on the last Saturday of each month only.
