Tetrapak Printmaking using recycled milk, orange and various cartons is a fun way to explore printmaking.
You will design, draw out, and etch, score lines/marks using an etching needle and also scalpel blade into a tetrapak to create your own bespoke prints. Through a series of marks, lines, cutting, scoring and peeling the tetrapak plate you will produce some interesting effects in both line and tone. The process allows for experimentation and create interesting results
You will learn how to ink up your tetrapak plate, and print on a professional etching press. To help you understand the process you will create a sample test plate to before you move on to your final piece.
It is useful to come with your ideas, any sketches to help you get started.
This is a fun session, and you will leave with your own set of unique prints.
