A new butchers shop, which is set to open on Teddington's High Street early next year, is already taking Christmas bird orders.

Fredericks of Teddington, which is owned by Benedict Phillips who also owns both Cafe Benedict and Parsnips on High Street, will open in the site of the former Caroline Turner Shoes shop.

The news comes after Teddington's only butchers, Teddington Butcher on Waldegrave Road, closed in December 2024.

In preparation for Christmas, Fredericks of Teddington is now taking orders for free-range turkeys and geese slowly reared in woodland from Lotland Farm.

More information can be found on Fredericks of Teddington's website here.

The butchers also plans to sell pig meat once open.
