Release your creativity, unwind, and learn an absorbing skill as you carve an attractive botanical design in Portland limestone, using leaves and flowers as inspiration. You'll use hand tools to create a simple relief image with a textured background.

 You'll be provided with prepared patterns of a monstera leaf, echinacea flower, and ginkgo biloba leaf – suitable for both beginners and more experienced carvers. You're also welcome to bring your own pictures or design sketches (for a 20 x 20 cm stone tablet). The tutor will review and help adapt your design as needed.

 All levels of experience welcome

Continuing students are welcome to bring existing projects to make further progress.
