For one night only, some of the UK's funniest comedians will take the stage together to raise funds for Momentum Children's Charity.

The Arthur Cotterell Theatre at Kingston College is hosting the event on Thursday, 16 October, and this year's Comedy Night proudly features two outstanding female headliners, with a final act yet to be announced.

Taking to the stage is the brilliant Lucy Porter, well-known for her sharp wit on QI and Have I Got News for You. Harriet Kemsley will join Porter, bringing her clever humour from 8 Out of 10 Cats and her recent starring role in LOL: Last One Laughing UK.

Hosting the event for the fourth-year running is the wonderful local comedian and loyal supporter, Erich McElroy, who will keep the laughs coming all night long.

Talking about why he is supporting the event, Erich McElroy said: "I'm thrilled to be hosting this special night once again.

"Sharing the stage with such talented comedians is always a joy -but knowing every laugh helps support an amazing cause makes it even more powerful.

"We've pulled together a line-up you won't want to miss, and it's all to raise money to help families who truly need Momentum's support. Laughing hard and doing good at the same time – it's a no-brainer. Grab your tickets now!"

Tara Sherjan, Head of Public Fundraising at Momentum Children's Charity said: "We're so excited to bring our Comedy Night back- especially with Lucy, Harriet and Erich on the line-up.

"It is a highlight of our fundraising calendar, guaranteed to be packed with giggles. What makes the event even more special is that every comedian has generously donated their time, and Kingston College have kindly opened their theatre doors to us. Join us for an unforgettable evening to raise vital funds for Momentum."

Momentum Children's Charity supports families across London, Surrey, and Sussex whose children are facing cancer or a life-challenging condition.

The charity partners with local hospitals to offer personally tailored support to the entire family through its family support workers, both in hospital and at home.
