A practical course focusing on drawing the head – developing a greater understanding of proportions and how to capture character. You will explore the architecture of the head, neck, and facial features, and how the underlying structure influences surface form.

 By the end of the course, you should be able to depict the head from different viewpoints using a range of materials and approaches. You'll draw from a clothed portrait model and may work seated or standing at an easel.

 Open to all adults – beginners and those with some experience.
