Open to all adults, no experience required.

Do you enjoy sketching, and love plants? If so, drawing and painting in a botanical sketchbook will give you great satisfaction and lots of fun. Over the three days of this workshop we will explore the methods of making interesting and informative plant studies from life, in a variety of media and styles including pencil, watercolour and pen and ink. Bring in your own plant material, or draw material brought into class by the tutor. If the weather permits, we may also sketch outside.

Be inspired by the work of tutor Lucy T Smith, a professional botanical artist with many years' experience who will show examples from her own botanical sketchbooks.
