The remedial work to the tennis courts at Udney Park Playing Fields, dealing with years of neglect, is almost complete and set to open in two weeks time on March 29th.

Under a sub-lease from Teddington RFC, the courts are now managed by Tennis for Teddington and a whole host of activities are scheduled in the coming month.

The courts will be bookable via the website for just £5 per hour. Booking in advance is highly recommended as they are set to be very busy once lockdown ends. There are also Holiday Camps running (4-10 years old) from March 29th, Free Open Day on April 4th and regular group coaching from April 19th onwards.

Local coach Simon Huddart, who is heading up the venue, remarked "It will be fantastic to see these courts in use again and to have people enjoying the renovated facilities."
