Age UK Richmond is relaunching its weekly, half-hour swimming sessions for elderly residents this September.

A rare 1960s boat was stolen and destroyed in a blaze set by joyriders on a stretch of Thames near Teddington earlier this month.

The owner of the vessel is now appealing for anyone with information on this to contact him, following the incident on August 3.

AHH/Quantum confirmed today (20 August) that 82% of the investors have agreed to accept an alternative bid for the site and they intend to exchange soon.

Two buildings in Teddington, very different from each other, have been presented with a Teddington Society Design Award.

First was Teddington Cricket Club for its new pavilion building, designed by architect Jim Reed in Bushy Park; then the Park Hotel for the careful and sympathetic restoration of its Grade II listed premises.

Garrick's Temple to Shakespeare, on the Riverside at Hampton, was built by the great 18th century actor-manager David Garrick in 1756 to celebrate the genius of William Shakespeare.
