Aussie rugby stars dazzle in the drizzle in Teddington

The Australian rugby team were out in the Teddington drizzle yesterday preparing for their big Autumn Nations match against England at Twickenham this Saturday (13 November).

The Wallabies squad settled into The Lensbury this week after their narrow defeat 15-13 against Scotland at Murrayfield last weekend.

THE Landmark Arts Centre's new comedy night is back tomorrow with a trio of TV panel show regulars ready to get Teddington audiences chuckling in their seats.

The monthly stand-up night is organised by Avalon Productions, known as the brains behind Channel 4 and Dave hit Taskmaster and for their roster of the UK's top comedy talent.

MANY people who want to support the Poppy Appeal are struggling again this year because of the increasing number of outlets which are now cashless since the pandemic.

Shops, supermarkets and pubs still have their traditional boxes and pins on the bar or at the check-out but few people carry any loose change to purchase a poppy.
