Hampton Court Bridge: A visualisation of the bollards and raised kerb from Surrey County Council design statement

Anti-terror bollards will be installed on Hampton Court Bridge after counter terrorism police identified it as a potential place for an attack.

Elmbridge Borough Council's north area planning sub committee meeting last night (December 7) approved a listed building consent application for a raised kerb on the bridge as well as 150 black bollards on the pavement to prevent a car deliberately driving onto it.

RISING comedy star Luke Kempner, known for his viral impressions of celebrities and TV characters, will be headlining a comedy gig in Teddington this week.

Luke, who grew up in Surrey, rose to fame in the early 2010s with impersonations of sports stars including Tom Daley and Andy Murray, later reaching a wider audience with his one-man Downton Abbey spoof 'The Only Way is Downton.'

A young Teddington actor who recently starred in the BBC series Ridley Road has called on the government to stop cutting funds to the arts sector.

Danny Sykes, 23, played Ronnie Malinovsky in the four-part historical drama about the 62 Group, also expressed his gratitude to the Teddington teachers who encouraged his career.

A small Italian embroidery shop opposite Ted Lasso's fictional front door near Teddington has created a booming business in the wake of the show's global success, Nub News has learned.

Owners Claudio and Cristina have created an exclusive range of items including socks (£15 a pair) embroidered with Ted's BELIEVE dressing room mantra, scarves (£25) and T-shirts (£25) with the distinctive club badge AFC Richmond and baseball caps and hats.
