Workers in Teddington are set to get more support from the government.

The Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, is set unveil some new measures today.

Much of the country, including Teddington and the whole of London, is now in a Tier Two local lockdown.

This means that households cannot mix indoors in any setting.

The new rules have had a huge effect on the economy and the hospitality industry in particular.

With furlough ending this month Mr Sunak is planning to add additional measures to his Job Support Scheme.

This scheme sees the government pay two thirds of wages in Tier Three areas only.

The full extent of these measures will be revealed later today.
