F45 Teddington is set to host an exclusive week-long youth programme - kicking off this Wednesday - in a bid to improve student fitness levels.
Teddington's community gym will accommodate Project X, a new initiative for school children aged 11-17-years-old that will span over four sessions from Wednesday, March 22 - Wednesday, March 29.
Whilst the new fitness scheme for students is separate to F45 Teddington, the gym will host the launch of the programme with future dates by Project X to be announced in due course.
The heart pumping sessions are designed to specifically promote healthy development and fitness outcomes for students who will work alongside their class mates and coaches to tackle a host of challenges and push their exercise boundaries.
Commenting on Project X, Caitlin Robbins, Studio Manager at F45 Teddington said: "We are so excited to be expanding our community to bring our much loved HIIT workouts to kids and teens!
"Get ready for 45 minutes of hard work but lots of opportunities to have fun, challenge yourself and meet local friends along the way."
The Project X timetable at F45 Teddington will run as followed:
- Wednesday, 22nd of March
- Saturday, 25th of March
- Monday, 27th of March
- Wednesday, 29th of March
F45 is a global fitness community specialising in innovative high-intensity group workouts. From its humble beginnings in Australia, the now US-based fitness company has over 1750 studios in 45 countries.
The 'F' in its name stands for 'functional training', while the 45 is the 'total amount of time for sweat dripping, heart pumping fun'.
Since opening its doors to the community in June 2022, F45 Teddington has quickly gone about connecting with local organisations and schools.
Bootcamps have been run at East Molesey Cricket Club and the gym has helped them raise funds to support the development of their women's' and girls' cricket teams.
Sporting activities are frequently run at Collis Primary School including tug of war at their summer's sports day and F45 is in close contact with local councillors to continue to explore innovative ways of making fitness more accessible across the borough.
