Welcome to your weekly What's on in Teddington. 

Every Thursday we round up all the eye catching events occurring in your area over the weekend.

Friday 18 August

Lucky 7s DJ Night, The Abercorn Arms, 8pm- late

Bring your best 7-inch vinyl records this Friday for a 'Lucky 7's DJ night from 8pm-1am. It's an opportunity to put your favourite record on and have a dance with your mates.

Bushy Parkrun with Kingston LGBTQ+, The Pheasantry, 8:45am

Join Kingston LGBTQ+ for a free 5km timed run around Bushy Park. 

The run starts at 9:00 am sharp, so meet near the Pheasantry café in Bushy Park for 8:45 am (by the gate from the nearby car park) and you can walk to the starting line as a group.

After the run, head back to the Pheasantry for a coffee and some well-deserved breakfast.

Teddington Kosmonauts Photowalk, Teddington Station, 12:00

We will visit one of London's best old school camera shops - Teddington Photographic.

From there, we'll be heading to the river, taking in Eel Pie Island and some of the fantastic local pubs.

We will also hop on one of London's last bank-to-bank ferries so bring a pound coin.

From here we will walk to Richmond. It might be hot so please bring a bottle of water.

As usual spot prizes will be handed out during the day - you could win something special!

For this event all attendees will receive two rolls of Kosmo Foto Agent Shadow 400 35mm film.

Nations Rugby Warm-ups, The Abercorn Arms, from 3:15pm onwards

Rugby fans unite! With the start of the season peeping its head around the corner, get yourself ready with the Summer Nations Series of Rugby World Cup showing at The Abercorn Arms. Watch Wales vs South Africa at 3:135pm then England vs Ireland at 5:30pm as they warm-up for the main event.

Teddington Cricket Club VS Bexley in ECB National Semi-Final, 12:00

Support your local team and watch Teddington play against Bexley in the amateur cricket's national semi-final. The winners will play at Lord's in September.

Making the most of the event, the club is organising activities for children, as well as offering food and drink all day. There will be face painting as well as a Pimms & Park Brewery Tents. 

The match is free to watch and will be held at Teddington Cricket Club, Bushy Park TW11 0EP. 

Sunday Quiz, The Abercorn Arms, 7:30pm

If you want to keep the good times going, get your team together for the weekly pub quiz. Hosted by Quiz Live from 7:30pm, contestants have the opportunity to wine a £50 bar tab. 

Top tip: The Abercorn Arms are also screening the Women's Football World Cup at 11am so make it an all-day affair.
