Saturday 16 September
Summer Party Night, The Abercorn Arms, 7pm-1am
Get your funk on with The GQ Collective playing banger after banger for the Summer Party. Spinning vinyl only, the DJs set the vibes with funk, groove and soul.
River Brunch, The Wharf, 2pm-6pm
The Wharf is hosting an end of summer river brunch soundtracked by a special live DJ set by Bruce & H. The brunch will include a two-course meal, with a dessert cocktail included in the price of only £55. From 2pm to 3:30pm there will be bottomless beer or prosecco available.
Teddington Choral Society Come and Sing Day, St Mary's Church Hall in Twickenham, 10:30am-4:30pm
Join the friendly singers of Teddington Choral Society for a day exploring some choruses from Handel's Messiah and Verdi's Requiem. The day will be led by conductor Julian Collings and accompanied by Phil Collings. Tea, coffee and cakes will be provided. Singers are asked to bring their own copies of the Messiah and the Requiem however there will be limited copies available to borrow - book a ticket and please indicate whether you require a copy.
Sunday 17 September
The Indian army at the palace, Hampton Court Palace, 10am-5:30pm
Explore the forgotten story of Indian Army soldiers who camped at Hampton Court Palace in the early 20th century, through a new exhibition of previously unseen objects, photographs, film and personal stories.
Sunday Quiz, The Abercorn Arms, 7:30pm
Get your thinking caps on and sharpen your competitive streak with a pub quiz! 1st prize is a £50 tab voucher with rollover jackpot questions. Food served until 10pm.
Cabinet Secrets Exhibition, Ham House and Garden, 12-3:30pm
Visitors can explore the elaborate designs and beautiful artisanship of Ham House and Garden's extensive collection of stunning decorative cabinets. It is a unique opportunity to see inside the highly decorative pieces as they are unlocked and displayed in all their glory. They are normally kept closed to protect the pristine interiors from the light, and to avoid excessive wear on the hinges and locks. Around 15 of the collection's prized cabinets and artefacts including writing desks, a harpsichord and strongboxes will be opened during the exhibition.
