Hatti & Pippa's Christmas Adventure!
It is Christmas Eve and Pippa the Penguin has tired of life at the Zoo. She has hatched a plan to escape and return home to the South Pole for Christmas.
From the creators of Ellie & Starlight the Musical- Playwright Ken Mason and Producer Stephen Leslie bring you Hatti and Pippa's Christmas Adventure.
This heart-warming magical Christmas story is the tale of a little penguin's determination to get home and the strength that true friendship can bring.
Friday, December 16th
A Medieval Christmas, a talk by Tony McMahon
Local charity Friends of Bushy and Home Parks are hosting their Christmas event this Friday!
Come and hear how Christmas was celebrated in Medieval Britain and how it started traditions we uphold today such as the 12 days of Christmas.
An entertaining talk by the Bearded Historian (Tony McMahon) at the Normansfield Theatre in Teddington will take place at 7pm. There will be a bar and of course a mince pie! Feasting recipes will also be shared in case you want to try them at home.
Saturday, December 17 - Sunday, December 18
Carols by Candlelight
Join the Landmark Arts Centre for a weekend of words and music performed by Surrey Brass, narrator Giles Abbott, Concordia Voices (Saturday) and The Imperial College Chamber Choir (Sunday).
There will be plenty of carols for those in attendance to join in with and mince pies and mulled wine on sale too.
The event is renowned for selling out fast so grab your tickets while you still can!
Friday, December 16th - Monday, December 19th
Wizard of Oz, Young Performer's Edition
Dorothy Gale, a young girl living on a Kansas farm with her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry, dreams of escaping her mundane life "Over The Rainbow". The family's mean neighbour, Miss Gulch, threatens to impound Dorothy's cherished dog, Toto, so Dorothy and Toto run away and a fantasy adventure ensues.
A firm favourite- Teddington Theatre Club's production of The Wizard of Oz at Hampton Hill Theatre, in 2019, won a record FOUR Arts Richmond Swan Awards including Best Youth Production!
