Broad Street is set to welcome its latest addition in the shape of the British Heart Foundation.

The UK charity raises money to fund research into cures for heart and circulatory diseases and has over 170 stores across England, Scotland and Wales.

Teddington is already a hotspot for charity shops and the new British Heart Foundation store, set to open Tuesday 7th February 2023, will join the likes of Fara, Mary's Living & Giving, Blue Cross, Oxfam, Cancer Research and Princess Alice Hospice.

The store will sell a range of preloved and new items from clothing, shoes and accessories to books, toys and homeware as well as greeting cards for all occasions, pin badges and small gifts.

Prior to its opening, Broad Street's British Heart Foundation is on the lookout for volunteers and residents who are interested are encouraged to submit an application form.

News of the charity landing on Broad Street marks one of a number of new stores set to set up shop in Teddington in 2023 including Planet Organic which will replace the former Johnson's Shoes and Marez Brasserie, taking over from the former Wimpey site.
