Looking for something to do in and around Teddington this weekend? Here are our picks of the events and activities you won't want to miss:

FRIDAY NIGHT: Jason Darling Live Music at The Hogarth, 58 Broad Street.

Be part of an intimate audience for Teddington's very own sweetheart, Jason Darling.

Whether you've heard the local legend before or you're new to his angelic voice, you won't be disappointed.

Jason covers a variety of music genres from swing to modern pop. He's also very open to music requests!

This is a free event.

FRIDAY to SUNDAY: Kate Howe Debut London Solo Show Exhibtion: The Erotics of Power at 55 High Street, Hampton Wick.

For the first time, see Howe's complete cycle of paintings The Erotics of Power.

American artist and writer Kate Howe recently established her studio in Hampton Wick and describes her vbrant abstract paintings as "letters to Turner."

She states: "Almost always I paint about power and control. I am into the deep machinations and relational politics of my alien creatures–sensual manipulative beasts."

The show will run Friday through Sunday 12-6 pm for walk-in viewing.

SUNDAY: Ceramic Pinch Pots Workshop at Cass Art, 103 Clarence Road, Kingston upon Thames.

In this fun crafting session with professional ceramist and experienced teacher Jesse Crowther, you will be taught various techniques to create your own ceramic three footed pinch pots.

These cute pots make great gifts and can be used for trinkets or as condiment dishes.

During the workshop, Jesse will teach you how to create the pinch pots, attach clay feet and also demonstrate a range of decorative and printing techniques that you can use on your dishes.

Feel free to experiment with your clay, making as many pieces as you like, then choose your favourite 3 (one large and 2 smaller) to be fired. All pieces will be taken by Jesse to be kiln fired after the class and you can choose whether you'd like a clear transparent or crackly glaze.

Your beautiful finished creations can then be picked up either from Jesse at her studio near Kingston Bridge or from us in Teddington, or for an additional fee can be packed up and posted to your home.

Cost: £40.

Pinch pots not your thing? You could also try spoon carving at the same place - read more HERE
