ROCKIN' THE LOCKIN' will be returning to Teddington this spring as a two-day music festival.

The live concerts for a good cause, organised by Teddington Together, started during the 2020 lockdown to support local venues and businesses which were struggling due to restrictions.

More than £6,000 was raised over six Rockin' the Lockin' gigs - including a marathon 12-hour online concert in aid of the Save the Landmark campaign that raised almost £3,000 in donations.

Landmark Arts Centre manager Lesley Bossine said: "'Back in 2020 we were so grateful for the support of Teddington Together and these fantastic local musicians as we battled to avoid permanent closure.

"Now we are delighted to be partnering with Teddington Together to present this live festival, showcasing amazing local talent for the whole community to enjoy."

This year's music festival will take place in May at the Landmark Arts Centre's stunning Grade II* listed building.

Well-known local artists will be playing including Jason Darling, D'Artagnan and Kitty Whitelock.

The music genres range from country and blues to rock and pop via classical and rap.

Local traders selling food and drink, plus crafts stalls, will also feature at the event.

All profits from the two days of concerts will be split equally between The Landmark Arts Centre (a registered charity) and Teddington Together (a non-profit organisation).

Funds raised for Teddington Together will go towards the costs of community events such as Teddington Christmas Lights Up.

Tickets are £30 for the Saturday or £20 for the Sunday, with half price tickets for children under the age of 12.

Weekend tickets are available for £40 with an early bird discount so don't delay!
