Twenty two winners struck lucky in the Richmond Borough Get Lucky Local community lottery in Draw 16 on Saturday night.

Three players each won a £25 cash prize and their nominated Good Causes were Hampton Hill Cricket Club, Teddington Cricket Club and SporTedd.

Nineteen other players won THREE free tickets for next week's big Saturday night draw.

Fifty four Good Causes are now signed up to the lottery where the sale of 100 tickets per week generates £2600 a year for these cash-hungry organisations and just 50 tickets a week will raise £1300.

The other local causes benefiting from this week's draw are The Wild Mind Project, Teddington Hockey Club, Park Lane Stables (which has raised over £1m in their campaign to save their stables in Teddington) Hampton Hill Theatre, Sheddington, Ruils, Teddington Swimming Club, Hampton & Richmond Borough Youth FC, Friends of Strathmore School and Crossroads Care.

A spokesperson for the not-for-profit lottery said: "Over 1000 players are buying tickets each week and their support is making a real difference to struggling organisations as well standing a chance of winning a cash prize.

"If there is a cause close to your heart and close to your home this is the perfect way to show your support in a very difficult time for charities and community groups who cannot run their usual fund-raising events. Or, if you are a cause that is struggling sign up today."
