This week we go Up Close with a business that is currently a success in Teddington but has plans to go bigger.

The Bad Boy Pizza Society has a delivery service in Teddington - but once restrictions ease the business wants to go beyond TW11.

Nub News caught up with co-founder and local lad Henry Hill to learn about all things Bad Boy Pizza.

Setting up the society

Henry said: "We were in our third year at Southampton University and had not yet joined a society.

"So we started our own - the pizza society.

"We were trying to become a proper business, making and selling our pizzas - but then COVID happened."

The Teddington Delivery Service

After Henry lost his job at the start of the first lockdown and with Bad Boy's plans on hold he was not ready to give up pizza making just yet.

From Teddington, Henry decided to launch a delivery service in the local area.

The delivery service is a real family affair - with Henry's brother being the driver.

His parents are not complaining about the free pizzas either!

Plans for the future

All being well COVID restrictions will finally relax in the summer - and Bad Boy have some big plans.

Henry said: "We want our own residency at a restaurant as well as returning to food halls in London.

"We're on the cusp of being able to announce something big - but I can't tell you yet!"

If it means more quality pizza then it is definitely exciting.
