Watch this delightful clip of new born cygnets on egg guard-duty in Home Park

Two new-born fluffy cygnets, shaking on their feet and buffeted by the strong winds were left alone at home today, guarding the two remaining unhatched eggs in a nest in Home Park.

Their parents were off gallivanting on the other side of the pond with the other six cygnets.

The strong mid-morning winds kept the goslings on the move as they appeared to keep close for warmth and probably too young for their first big outing beyond the nest.
