Teddington Nub News aims to be supportive to EVERY element of the community from business and
shops to people and charities and clubs and sports organisations. Everyone is finding it tough at the moment and is desperate to get back to normal. We will be profiling some of these local businesses and groups regularly over coming weeks in a feature called UP CLOSE IN TEDDINGTON in the hope that we can be a supportive springboard for your full return to business as usual. Today we talk to Kindred Teddington Nursery and Pre-School about the nursery and the pandemic. About the nursery The nursery is located on Langham Road and is for children aged between three months and five years old. It offers 2, 3 and 4 year government funded places. Nursery Manager Charley Robinson told us about the ethos of the nursery. She said: "We focus on creating inspiring experiences for the children that creates a love of learning. "Our nursery is a warm and welcoming environment where our staff are passionate about creating awe and wonder in every moment. "We spark children's imaginations through real lifeobjects and natural play. Think back to how you used to play as a child. Cardboard boxes are transformed into trains, potions are made in the garden with leaves and acorns and activities that encourage a child's natural curiosity."
"We create meaningful relationships with every parent, so they never miss an opportunity to share
in their child's developments." The nursery also has a number of great extracurricular activities such as ballet and French. Award-winning Kindred is part of a larger group of around 16 nurseries across the South of England. The nursery has also won a number of awards such as being included in the Top 20 Nursery Group in2018 and 2019.
The nursery in Teddington also has an onsite cook who prepares homecooked meals from Kindred's healthy and tasty menu, which has been accredited by Action for Children, an accredited cook on-site so you know your child will be eating well.
Kindred also is proud to be staffed by locals.
