High Tide, a community-based festival rekindling the Rock 'n' Roll spirit of Eel Pie Island has announced its line-up for this Sunday 30 June 2023.

Almost 80 bands and/or artists will take to the stage across 17 venues in Twickenham. The festival is devoted to showcasing the best young and established bands in the heart of Twickenham.

Headliners include Mystery Jet and Goat Girl, as well as a diverse crowd of exciting acts like Errol Linton, Jasper Hoiby, VC Pines, Yolanda Charles, Los Pistoleros and Michael Weston King.

Co-founder of High Tide Festival, Kevin Jones from Eel Pie Records said: "Twickenham is a hive of creativity and the more we celebrate the musical talent we have on offer, the more we see new, diverse bands and artists wanting to participate, as can be seen by the strength of our line-up."

What used to be home to one of the biggest counter-cultural hippie communes in the UK, Eel Pie Island will is one of London's largest free, single-day music festival.

In the 1950s and 60s, Eel Pie Island shot to fame for its clamorous jazz club at the island's hotel. Here, the Rolling Stones first emerged, as well as Pink Floyd, Genesis and The Who which played gigs at the start of their careers.

The free festival is delivered thanks to a collaboration between Richmond Council, Eel Pie Records, Discover Twickenham BID and The Friends of Twickenham Green, with support from a large number of local people through crowdfunding and a wide range of Twickenham businesses.
