Three great Teddington outdoor activities you can do during lockdown

Boris Johnson issued a stay at home order last night however one of the crucial exemptions is outdoor exercise.

You are allowed to do this daily and can even meet up with a person outside your household to do so (as long as there's no more than two of you).

So what and where is the best place to do just this in Teddington?

Have no fear Nub News is here to help! Here are five great ways to still get outdoors despite the lockdown.

Go for a run in Bushy Park

This one is probably the most obvious but you really cannot beat and good old fashioned run.

Bushy Park is huge and while it can get busy there is still a lot of space to run in.

The now world-famous park run started in Bushy - so why not see if you can complete a 5km around the park?

Cycle up or down the Thames path

We are lucky to live so close to the river - so why not take advantage of it?

You can cycle along the Thames to Windsor Castle or to Central London - either way you'll have a lot of ground to cover.

Plus you can take in the spectacular views of Hampton Court Palace a little closer to home!

Or take a dip in the water...

Now this is for the bravest amongst you.

Some very brave swimmers even take a dip into the river itself.

However if you are doing this you must be extremely careful when doing so.
