Three fire engines tackle fire in Teddington

Fire engines from Twickenham and Kingston Fire Stations tackled a fire on King Edwards Grove in Teddington yesterday.

Firefighters who attended the scene found a first-floor balcony at a terraced house alight.

A spokesperson from the London Fire Brigade said: "We were called at 13:48hrs on Wednesday, 14 May to reports of a fire at a terraced house on King Edwards Grove in Teddington.

"Firefighters attended and discovered a first-floor balcony alight

"The fire was extinguished and there were no reports of any injuries.

"The Brigade's Control Officers received around eight calls about the fire.

"Two fire engines from Twickenham Fire Station and a fire engine from Kingston Fire Station attended the scene."
