The popular and long serving the Teddington Cheese shop in Station Road is up for sale.

Serving the cheese-loving community for 18 years, the store's owner, Tony, has decided to retire.

Specialising in cheese produced on small farms using traditional methods, the independent store serves over 130 different varieties.

Cheeses from all over Britain and Europe are matured on its premises, then cut and served in peak condition.

Plastered on the front shop door, a poster reads: "We would love the business to be taken over by a local person who understands what the Teddington Cheese means to the Teddington & Richmond community and sees the potential to grow further."

On sale is two shops and a warehouse.

The shops and online business continue to go from 'strength to strength' and will be unaffected by the sale.

There is another shop in Hill Rise, Richmond as well an online service available to ship cheese all over
