The Sports Preview: Teddington Cricket Club back in competitive action

Every weekend we will be previewing all the sporting action in Teddington now we can finally get back out and play sport.

This weekend marks the start of the Middlesex County Cricket League 2020 - 10 months since last years came to a close.
Teddington Cricket Club play in this league and here are the fixtures they have coming up this weekend:
Saturday 18th July
Teddington 1st XI vs Hampstead Cricket Club - 11.30am start
Hampstead Cricket Club vs Teddington 2nd XI - 12pm startNorth London Cricket Club vs Teddington 3rd XI - 12pm start
Teddington 4th XI vs Old Iselworthians - 12pm start Sunday 19th July Teddington Cricket Club vs Chiswick Cricket Club - Middlesex Development League (MDL) 1pm start Teddington Cricket Club Chairman Phil Eastland said: "I would like to thank the groundsman, volunteers, Management Committee who have all worked so incredibly hard to make it possible for cricket to commence in the current climate. "It has been an incredibly difficult time over the last few months and we are so happy we are able to provide some cricket for all to enjoy in a safe environment. "Finally I would like to thank you the members for showing your support to the club. As things hopefully return to some kind of normality you will be able to enjoy all of the benefits the new pavilion has to offer. "We are incredibly proud of what we have been able to achieve with the new pavilion and we hope you are too. We will continue to strive to take the club forward and look to improve the facilities on and off the pitch here at Teddington Cricket Club."
