The Friends of Teddington Memorial Hospital is "delighted to announce" an extension to the closing date of its children's pain clinic naming and art competition.
Participants now have until 3 November 2024 to submit their entries.
This competition offers a unique opportunity for children in the borough of Richmond upon Thames, aged seven to 11, to contribute to the naming of the new pain clinic and showcase their artistic talents.
"We encourage creative minds to come forward with names that reflect the clinic's mission and values and artwork that can inspire and comfort patients and visitors alike," organisers said.
Competition Details:
- Extended Deadline: 3 November 2024
- Categories: Naming the Pain Clinic, Naming 6 Treatment Rooms, Artwork for the Clinic
- Eligibility: Open to children aged 7 to 11 living or attending school in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames
- Submission Guidelines: Entries should be submitted by post or email via an Entry Form downloadable at www.friends-tmh.co.uk/pain-clinic-naming-competition
"We are thrilled with the enthusiastic response we've received so far and want to give everyone ample time to participate. This extension allows more children of our community to share their creativity and be a part of this significant initiative," said Simon Douglas Lane, chairman of The League of Friends of Teddington Memorial Hospital.
Winners will receive special recognition, and their contributions will be prominently displayed within the new Pain Clinic.
