Parts of Kingston and Teddington near the River Thames are at risk of flooding, after heavy rain throughout the day (23 February) and lighter showers earlier in the week.

This has coincided with today's high tide at 3pm, causing flooding in low-lying areas along the river from Windsor to Putney.

This has put sections of Canbury Gardens' lower bike path underwater.

Parts of Surbiton's Queens Promenade have also flooded, and is currently inaccessible via Kingston Riverside.

The Environment Agency (EA) has warned against the use of similar paths as the river is expected to reach anywhere from 5.13 metres to 5.25 metres.

This is expected to slightly increase during the next high tide tomorrow 24 February, at roughly 3:45pm.

Property flooding is still not expected according to the EA.
