The Marks & Spencer Food Hall on Teddington's High Street reopened yesterday, 22 August, and it was nothing short of grand.

The store had been closed for seven weeks for renovation, so many queued up outside, eagerly awaiting its reopening.

By mid-morning the queues scaled back to the main road.

The car park, which had also been closed, reopened yesterday too.

The refurb comes after the chain invested £30 million into its London store estate, leading it to revamp 12 existing shops, including in Islington and Chancery Lane.

The renovation includes the installation of more shiny new service tills.
