Teddington World Cup of Hospitality: Day One Results are IN

5th Nov 2021 | Local News

It was a big first day in the Teddington World Cup of Hospitality.

Group A

In Group A there was a comprehensive victory for The Kings Head who secured 43.5% of the vote.

This makes them definitely one of the venues to beat going into the second round.

Piazza Ferenzi comfortably came second too with 32.6% of the vote.

Meanwhile it was a close battle for third but Girasole Deli came on top with 13% compared to The Wharf's 10.9%.

Group B

This was a very close contest - some have even called this 'The Group of Death.'

It looked at one point that The Anglers would not make it out of the group but they pulled it round to win the whole thing with 28.8%.

The battle for second was hotly contested too and Bar Estilo will feel hard done by as despite getting 25% of the vote they lost out to The Flying Cloud Cafe who secured 27.5%.

Ruba Restaurant also put in a creditable performance too getting nearly 20% of the vote.

Tomorrow - Group C and D

Tomorrow we will see Group C and Group D battle it out.
