Teddington Women's RFC Team is giving a big shout out to encourage new faces for next season and all abilities are welcome.

The Teddington Antlers recently started pre-season training and are doing so remotely and online before getting back together as soon as possible for group sessions outside.

The team has recently announced a new sponsorship partnership with multi-vitamin brand Alive!

Heather Smith, Chairwoman of Teddington Antlers RFC said:"We're excited to partner with a brilliant brand which is a fantastic fit for our women's programme.

"Our players fit their rugby around very busy lifestyles, so having quality brands like Alive! on hand will be huge support in the years ahead. We are excited to have this opportunity to work with Alive! and can't wait for the new season to start."

The club added:" We are very pleased to welcome Aimee Lutman to our coaching team for the 2020/21 season."

Lutman, a New Zealand native, is joining as a forward coach. She has played for a range of clubs over the years including Trojans and she has represented the British Army and Combined Services team.

She is building her coaching credentials and spent a season as forwards coach of the Loughborough Lightning development team.

She will join head coach Stuart Quinn-Willis and assistant coach Andy Scott in leading the team this season.

Aimee said: "I am really looking forward to being part of the Teddington set-up as soon as lock-down allows! My approach is centred around player enjoyment and development and it will be great to get stuck into it alongside Stuart and Andy very soon."
