A Teddington pub is turning one this Friday (28 November) as it reopened on the same day last year under new management.
The Builders Arms on Field Lane reopened on 28 November 2024 under a new manager, Barry Wilson after a two-year closure.
Opening its doors on the same day as last year's Teddington Lights Up event, the pub revealed a swanky new refurb as well as a new exterior and sign.
Reflecting on the past year, Wilson told Nub News: "To be honest with you the first 12 months has been amazing and has exceeded expectations in how it's been welcomed by old friends and new ones alike.
"There's a lovely local mix now of varying generations and it's been a pleasure to have been part of it all.
"No particular highlights but certain things such as charity days, the defibrillator community training evening, which was so well attended and, of course, having Sir Kenny Dalglish behind the bar, have all been special.
"I'm looking forward to Christmas and new year and even more enjoyable memories.
