Festive Singing Workshop

Singing a capella songs in four part harmony is an incredibly rewarding and enjoyable thing to do. Directed by our talented and experienced Music Director Antonio Sa-Dantas, if you are a woman or sing with an upper voice you can learn some festive themed songs over a period of 5 weeks and sing them to friends and family in an informal concert on the last night.

Calligraphy Baubles

Friday 28 November, The Anglers, 10.15am - 12.15pm.

Join us for our new festive workshop with expert calligrapher Claire Coppard and create two beautiful personalised ceramic baubles!

During the morning, you'll be introduced to the basics of modern brush pen calligraphy and then use these skills as you try your hand at the art of bauble decoration.

After being shown how calligraphy letters are formed, when to apply pressure and the techniques of brush lettering, you'll choose two luxury ceramic baubles to paint and personalise. There'll be a variety of colours and patterns for you to choose from, so you can express your creativity and design and decorate baubles that will look beautiful in your own home or make a fantastic gift.

You'll leave the class with some unique Christmas presents, together with the know-how to make more!

Christmas Bazaar

Saturday 29 November, St Mary's Parish Hall, 11am - 2.30pm.

The annual Christmas Bazaar will take place on Saturday 29 November at St Mary's Parish Hall, Langham Rd, Teddington, from 11am-2.30pm. It's a wonderful family and community event, free for children (£2 entry for adults).

Sunday 30 November, Landmark Arts Centre, 2pm - 4pm.

Celebrate the season with a glass of mulled wine and an evening of festive creativity. In this relaxed and sociable workshop, you'll learn how to design and assemble a luxury Christmas wreath using fresh foliage, berries, ribbons and natural embellishments. Guided step by step, you'll create a beautifully balanced design to take home — ready to hang and admire throughout Christmas.
