A Teddington mobility business has been put up for sale.

Mike Hatherall, who owns Opt4Mobility, has decided to sell the business due to wanting to retire.

However, contrary to speculation, Hatherall has informed Nub News that the shop will not be closing down and will remain open under his ownership until the sale is complete.

Hatherall first established his business, which has a store located in The Causeway, in 2003.

Speaking about his decision to sell the business, Hatherall told Teddington Nub News: "Hopefully the sale will attract a new much younger owner who has the ability to work hard and keep it going for many years. Of course, it will always be dependent on the local community for support and its custom."

Opt4Mobility is currently up for sale on Intellegent.com for £90k.
