A family-run Italian restaurant on Teddington's High Street has closed down.

Cento Uno first opened in August 2024, replacing fine dining restaurant, One One Four, under the same owners, Sam and Alex Berry, who also own Cento Uno in Surbiton.

The couple decided to convert One One Four into Cento Uno because there was just not "the demand for fine dining anymore".

Speaking about opening Cento Uno in Teddington, Sam Berry previously told Nub News: "We wanted to create a space that feels like an extension of your living room- a place to unwind, share a great meal, and enjoy the company of your loved ones."

It is understood that Cento Uno will reopen as an Italian restaurant under a different name with new owners.

The leasehold was available for £120.000 with rent costing up to £5250 per month.

The leasehold advert described the business as: "The chic & prominent corner restaurant is fitted out to a high standard and boasts plenty of character and natural light.

"It is arranged over the ground floor only and features a stunning central bar with 17 bar stools, along with an additional 50 covers for more formal dining."
