LOOKING to get a head-start on your Christmas shopping in Teddington?

Then you won't want to miss the Landmark's Sparkle craft and gourmet food fair, back for 2021 this weekend!

Teddington community arts centre and Nub News sponsors The Landmark Arts Centre is hosting its annual Christmas event in the stunning surrounds of the Grade II listed St Albans church.

From Friday 19 November to Sunday the venue will be filled with 60 stalls selling unique and handmade Christmas gifts - from handcrafted ceramics to sparkling jewellery, intriguing art pieces to designer clothes.

Refreshments will be provided at the Landmark's cafe or you can pop to one of the food and drink stalls, with Green Sparrow Foods and Jawbone Brewery among some of the well-known local traders exhibiting here.

On the creative side, quirky pieces abound - our favourites include a pair of Brussels sprouts earrings, personalised felted pets, and exquisitely crafted miniature scenes made of found items and driftwood.

The fair has a new layout to help visitors feel comfortable and extended the opening hours to give attendees more time to browse.

It runs from 1-8pm on Friday and 10-4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Visual Arts Curator Abigail Thomas said: "We are excited to hold our first 'normal' post-lockdown Sparkle fair and have in place a few changes making the transition easier for artists and visitors.

"We want everyone to feel comfortable and safe. If you'd like to discuss this before your visit, please call us. We're happy to help."
