Teddington entrepreneur Joe Metcalfe secured the support of Dragons' Den member Sara Davies with an investment of £150.000 from her for 10% of his Thrift+ business in Sunday night's programme.

Joe was the last person to pitch in tonight's Dragons' Den and was visibly nervous as he weighed up TWO offers of investment.

The Den's youngest ever Dragon, Sara is from County Durham and joined the Den in 2019 when she was just 35!

She founded Crafter's Companion, a retail business specialising in crafting, 13 years ago from her bedroom at university.

Sara's company now turns over £34 million a year and employs more than 190 staff in UK, the US and across Europe. She is the recipient of over 25 business awards and in 2016 was recognised for services to the economy with an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours list.

Joe's vision is to create the single best destination to shop for second-hand clothes by bringing online charity shopping up to the same level as Amazon and Asos.
