WITH only five weeks to go until Christmas Day, finding the perfect present will be on the minds of many in Teddington.

Luckily, a group of local mums have banded together to organise a special Christmas shopping evening at St Mary's Parish Hall.

24 local small businesses are hosting stalls at the fair TONIGHT, with a huge selection of unique gifts on offer - from crafts and jewellery to food and alcohol.

Carols will be sung by community choir The Teddingtones, adding to the festive feel, and there's also due to be a tombola game, raffle and cake stall run by local mums.

The two-hour event runs from 8-10pm tonight (Tuesday 16 November) and costs just £5 to enter - including a complimentary glass of bubbly and mince pie at the door, and a fully licensed bar inside.

Mums from Teddington playgroup Playwam have organised the fair and it takes place at St Mary's Parish Hall on Langham Road.
